Golf Courses
The most important bit about golf holidays is probably the friends you go with, but after that it must be the courses, cast your eye over these:
Just a stones throw away you will find . . .
Selborne Country Club
Some call it the most spectacular 18 holes in South Africa. Wild coastal forest
frames a superbly manicured course where the only disturbance may be one of nature’s creatures. This beautiful 18-hole, par 72 golf course provides a
challenge for the more proficient golfer whilst also offering the social player an enjoyable round. There are water features on the 15 and 18 holes.

Wild Coast Country Club
The Wild Coast Country Club is a ruggedly beautiful course overlooking the Indian Ocean. Although it may appear a push over at just under 6,000metres
its testing layout provides a challenge to golfers of all levels. Some of South Africa’s most dramatic holes can be found here, the 13th par 3 is played
across a waterfall and is generally regarded as the best short hole in the country.

A true pleasure to play. A strong north easterly can make this course a challenge to any golfer. Very hilly with splendid views over the Indian Ocean.
A wonderful hole, the par 3, 12th is just 110 metres, but played steeply uphill to a green seemingly perched in the bush.

Port Shepstone Golf Club
Port Shepstone offers nine holes of parkland style play, with wooded fairways filled with indigenous trees such as the towering Mstintsi. The remaining nine holes are in links style, with wide open fairways. Accuracy might seem of less importance, but this impression can be deceiving as the holes are in fact longer and far more exposed to the elements, namely the wind.
